LOVE

LOVE

What is love you may ask? Is it that feeling of strong sensual passion? Or that warm fuzzy feeling? Or that ineffable bond, Or the cloud nine feeling? Or the weak in the stomach feeling? Or all of the above?

To different people it would mean different things but most would agree that Love is that illusive ingredient or essence we all search for or crave for or wish to have or even claim to have had, in marriage or when courting or dating

But a good definition is, Love in essence is an attitude of tender affection or an inherent caring for another person, animal or deity, based on some attraction, physically, psychologically, spiritually or otherwise. Each and everyone of us have the ability to give and to receive, but how evident that love really is, varies from person to person and the individuals intensity of emotions

Its also quite evident that love is the same exact ingredient that evaporates at divorce or separation of couples which often turns into hate. Yes, its so perfectly true that "there is a fine line between love and hate".

Hate is a powerful emotion, much stronger than Love especially if allowed to run wild, but that's better left for another day. However, Love is an emotion very poorly understood by most, perhaps by all. Since the times of the ancient Greeks, thinkers postulated various types of Love, yet, not everybody agrees with theses definitions completely. You, know, brotherly Love, narcissistic Love, paraphiliac Love, platonic Love  etc, etc, etc... and other such vapour-ware!

Love is also an emotion that is easily faked. Numerous girls and even woman has been hoodwinks by boys and men and vice-versa into thinking that the received affection was in fact genuine Love but often turns out to be lust. Or at times their partners turned out to be fraudster, only wanting sex, their money or their possessions.

Yet, other would be wiling to stand on a soapbox and announce their true and genuine Love for their partners, even to the entire world. Others crawl the Internet in search of Love  some even enter the fountain of marriage, thinking Love would always pour forth there from.

The unscrupulous sell Love  along with Love potions and aphrodisiacs, Love literature and even Love movies as if its some kind of "snake oil" to solve everyone's blues.

But if you really, really, want to see or witness or even experience real, unselfish, uncomplicated, unconditional, true and genuine Love, learn from your dog and Love the way dogs do!
